The durable all metal applicator connects easily to a standard air compressor (0.63 cm - 1/4 inch NPT inlet) and accepts 3M™ Rubberized Body Schutz, and 3M™ Rocker Schutz. A smooth trigger action lets you apply coatings in even layers. With its powerful siphon feed operation, our all metal 3M™ Body Schutz Applicator is built specifically for the higher air pressures required to apply textured, rubberized and non-hardening specialty coatings. Yet its design is relatively simple: it accepts a standard 0.63 cm - ¼” inlet air compressor hose at the handle and features a smooth trigger action for evenly spraying layers of heavy textured coatings. This applicator effortlessly connects to 946 ml (1-qt.) canisters of 3M™ Rubberized Body Schutz, 3M™ Rocker Schutz and 3M™ Rust Fighter-I. 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus Applicator Wand Kit 08851 allows body shop technicians to apply 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus in hard-to-reach places such as internal door skins and frame rails. The kit includes 24” and 34” wands with built-in 360-degree spray nozzles, and an 8” wand for flooding seams. The material is designed to cover and seal interior joints, hem flanges and compromised e-coats where corrosion can form. Properly applied with the 3M™ Cavity Wax Plus Wand Kit, it remains pliable and will not chip, peel or crack. The Importance of Protecting Inner Cavities No collision repair shop can match an OEM corrosion protection process (zinc phosphate baths, degreasers, DI water, heat-cured primers and sealers etc.).
